12 amazing shots
1. Point of view shot- this was shot at my point of view, however it was difficult to film with both of my hands in front of me, so I had to have someone else hold the camera for me while I stuck out my hands.
5. Flash- I'm not sure how significant this would be in an actual movie, as it didn't show much, which I guess was the point. I don't know it was just weird
6. Low-angle shot- this one was very uncomfortable for everyone involved. It was just weird to film at this angle and I feel like it didn't do well at showing anything else besides our double chins.
7. Over-the-shoulder shot- this shot was easy for the most part, it just was probably a little uncomfortable for the person who was being filmed, as it was right next to their face.
8. Close up- this was an easy shot film, and could probably be better if the camera was more at the level of where the object was picked up
9. Reaction shot- I liked this shot a lot, it was funny to film and to watch the actresses' reaction.
10. Reverse-angle shot- this shot was also fun to film and watch the dialect, but it was somewhat difficult to film without knowing when each actress was going to speak.
11. Head-on shot- in this case, we were the action coming towards the camera. It was fun to film and probably would've looked better with a little editing at the beginning
12. Establishing shot- this shot I took a few days before school started, it shows a location and a kinda gloomy feeling because of the weather.
I enjoyed the point of view shot. It made me feel like I was placed inside the person's eyes and looking through that window with them.
ReplyDeleteThe over-the-shoulder shot was entertaining to watch because it felt as though I was experiencing the scene with that person.
I found the establishing shot enjoyable to watch because it shows the setting, and it brought me in and set the mood, even though the mood was gloomy.
I found the low angle shot amusing. The low angle shot made me feel that the characters were larger than they may be in real life. The shot gave me a feeling of disorientation and made it look like the characters were important.
Head on shot: This shot made me feel as if I was about to get run over by the three subjects. It almost made the subjects look powerful since they were walking with such force towards the camera.
ReplyDeleteClose up shot: This shot gave me a sense of suspense since the person grabbing the object did it slowly, but then rapidly picked up the hair tie. It makes me wonder if the hair tie has some significant value.
Establishing shot: this shot was interesting, because although the colors were gloomy and it was windy it made me feel almost as if I were gloomy and in the scene during the moment it was taken.
Reverse angle shot: this shot is nice, because when the character was speaking the camera was focusing on them that way the viewer knows clearly who is talking.
